Playa Formentor, a completely different side
I mostly know Playa Formentor from summer, of course. But this time I came here in winter – and the cove felt completely different.
The sky was almost completely dark and covered in clouds. Every now and then, a little light from the sunset managed to break through. Somehow, it gave the whole place a really mystical atmosphere.
And the best part: we were almost completely alone.
For Lilly, that was obviously perfect. She could simply run around on the beach and even go into the water – and she was clearly having a great time. 😉
If you’re already here, you can also drive up to the Albercutx Watchtower before or afterwards. It’s especially worth doing around sunset. 🌅
I really loved that combination of the dark sky, the little bit of light and an almost empty Playa Formentor. The cove looks beautiful in summer, but like this, it somehow had a completely different character.
For me, Playa Formentor is therefore also worth visiting in winter – especially when the weather doesn’t look like classic Mallorca at all.
